The objective is to develop an optimal management component for the agroforestry system taking the surrounding conditions into account. Existing management concepts to produce high value broadleaves in traditional forestry are developed, adjusted, and modified to the different situations. It is thereby possible to grow high quality trees without loosing the open character of the landscape.
